Promotional Rules

The following section explains the rules that govern tombola promotions.

“Cloud Nine’, hereafter called “the Promotion”, will run daily from Tuesday 22nd - Friday 25th April between 20:00:00 until 22:00:00 (the “Promotion Period”).
Players participating in this Promotion will be deemed to have accepted these terms and conditions and agreed to be bound by them when clicking ‘Play’ to participate in this promotion.
These Promotional Terms & Conditions apply to the Promotion, but you must adhere to our General Terms & Conditions.
The Promotion is free to enter for customers aged 18+ registered on tombolaarcade who reside within the United Kingdom or Republic of Ireland. Any new players will be subject to age and identity checks before they will be able to qualify for the Promotion.
Accounts which are closed or self-excluded are not eligible to enter this promotion. Accounts which become closed or self-excluded between the start and end of this promotion will not be eligible to receive a prize.
To qualify to play any one game card, you must stake £2 real money on any arcade game (excluding bingo games) between 20:00:00 to 20:29:59, 20:30:00 to 20:59:59, 21:00:00 to 21:29:59 and 21:30:00 to 21:59:59.
Each day included in the Promotion Period has 4 qualification periods of 30 minutes from 20:00:00 to 20:29:59, 20:30:00 to 20:59:59, 21:00:00 to 21:29:59 and 21:30:00 to 21:59:59.
From the beginning the qualification period as per the times above, you have until 23:00:00 to play the relevant game card.
To play the game card you must select the “Click to play” button on the respective card on the promotion page, then click on each cloud in order to reveal the symbol inside. Once you have hit ‘play’ to reveal the game card, the system will consider it as ‘played’, even if you get disconnected before revealing all symbols. The game result will be recorded on your account and can be provided by the Customer Support team
Once you have played a game card, you can re-view/replay the gameplay as many times as you choose but the result of your original play will not change.
To win, you must match three (3) of any of the symbols on the game card.
A total of £800 will be won in free plays in each game card during Promotion Period:

A maximum total count of 880 prizes will be won in each game card throughout the Promotion Period.
Free Plays will be credited automatically to the winners’ accounts. Free Plays are valued at £0.10 each and can be used across any arcade games. Free Plays have a 7-day expiry. Once you have used your free Plays you will begin staking real cash.
Any real money prize you win will be credited to your withdrawable funds balance straight away after you play the game card.
On Monday 28th April before 12 noon, 50 Free Play’s winners will be published on the ‘Cloud Nine promotion winners’ page (which is accessible via button from the promotion pages).

In the unlikely event that the Promotion should malfunction or not run as intended, due to technical issues on tombola's part, every endeavour will be made to rectify the situation as soon as possible.
No responsibility will be accepted for any technical difficulties that the player may have which inhibits them from participating.
Players participating in this Promotion will be deemed to have accepted these terms and conditions and agreed to be bound by them when participating in this Promotion.
If we discover that any player has breached these promotional rules to create more than one account in order to participate in the Promotion multiple times, we will close any such accounts and void any winnings associated to games played in breach of these promotional rules.
This Promotion, and any dispute or claim arising out of or in connection with it, shall be governed by and construed in accordance with United Kingdom law. You irrevocably agree that the courts of the United Kingdom shall have exclusive jurisdiction to settle any dispute or claim that arises out of or in connection with this Promotion.

The “250,000 Free Plays to be won!” promotion, hereafter called “the Promotion”, will run daily from Monday 28th April - Sunday 4th May, between 00:00-23:59 on tombola and tombola arcade (the “Promotion Period”).
These Promotional Terms & Conditions apply to the “250,000 Free Plays to be won!” Promotion, but you must adhere to our General Terms & Conditions.
The Promotion is open for entry to customers aged 18+ registered on tombola who reside within the United Kingdom or Republic of Ireland. Any new players will be subject to age and identity checks before they will be able to qualify for the Promotion.
Accounts which are closed or self-excluded are not eligible to enter this promotion. Accounts which become closed or self-excluded between the start and end of this promotion will not be eligible to receive a prize.
Players can gain one entry into the prize draw between 00:00-23:59 each day of the promotion period by completing both of the following entry requirements:

To get a second daily entry players must stake a minimum of £5 real money on any arcade game (excluding bingo & roulette games). The £5 stake requirement can be made up of multiple stakes. Stakes made with bonus money will not count towards the stake requirement.
Players can earn a maximum of 2 entries per day during the promotion period.
Players can earn a maximum of 14 entries into the prize draw over the entire promotion period.
The prize draw will take place on Tuesday 6th May by 5pm. Winners will be chosen at random and will be announced on the winner’s promo page on Tuesday 6th May by 5pm.
Prizes will be awarded to winning players accounts within 7 days of the prize draw taking place.

No responsibility will be accepted for any technical difficulties that the player may have which inhibits them from participating.

What is Pre-Buy?

Pre-Buy is a feature that means you can now buy into selected promotional games in advance. You can access the purchase area for these games via our Promotions page, in-game menus, website advertisements and specific links if you are opted in to receive marketing communications from us.

Making a Pre-Buy purchase

When you select the promotion you would like to pre-buy tickets for, you will be shown a list of all games in that promotion. You can choose to select all games at the same stake, or alternatively you can choose to select different stakes for different games. Please note, not all games need to be selected and games do not have to be purchased in running order. This means you can select games 1, 2, 3, 4 and 5, or games 1, 3 and 5.

When you have selected the games you would like to Pre-Buy tickets for, you will see a total purchase price before you choose to confirm. Once a Pre-Buy purchase has been confirmed it cannot be cancelled.

Upgrading your stake after a Pre-Buy purchase has been confirmed

You can upgrade the stake in your Pre-Buy games after purchase. Simply re-visit the promotion from the Promotions page or in-game menu, and increase your stake in the promotional game(s) as required.

You will see a total purchase price before you confirm your stake upgrade.

How will Pre-Buy games play out?

Your Pre-Buy games will play in the same way as our other games. You do not need to be logged in to tombola in order for the games to play, and any winnings will be credited to your account as normal.

Please note, if you have an existing Bulk Buy purchase (please see Bulk Buy Terms and Conditions for full information) and you make a Pre-Buy purchase for a promotion that runs during your Bulk Buy, the Pre-Buy purchase will interrupt the order in which your Bulk Buy games will play. Games purchased as part of a Bulk Buy will play out one after the other, with the exception of when pre-purchased tickets exist. In this instance, any games that form part of your Bulk Buy purchase will play in order up to the start of the pre-purchased promotional game(s). At that point the pre-purchased promotion game(s) will play and, once they are complete, the games remaining in your Bulk Buy purchase will resume.

How will your Pre-Buy purchase show in your Transaction History?

When you make a Pre-Buy purchase you will see the total cost in your Transaction History at the time of the purchase.

What if I Pre-Buy tickets and the promotion is cancelled or the time is changed?

If you Pre-Buy tickets and the associated promotion is cancelled or the time is changed, then your Pre-Buy purchase will be cancelled and you will be refunded.

Malfunction

A malfunction of the game server during play voids all pays and plays, but such a malfunction after the game has finished will result in the prizes being honoured in line with the output of the game server. See standard terms and conditions for full information.

Game Freeze

If you make a Pre-Buy purchase and subsequently choose to put that game on to a Game Freeze, the Pre-Buy purchase will remain valid and will not be cancelled or refunded. The games will play out and any winnings will be credited to your account as normal.

Self Exclusion, Cooling Off and Disabled Accounts

If your account is disabled by us or you enter a period of self-exclusion and you have an existing Pre-Buy purchase, this will not be cancelled and refunded. The games will play out and any winnings will be sent to you in the form of a cheque. If you are in a cooling off period the same applies but winnings will remain in your account until the cool off period is complete.

Playmates Prize Promotion

What is Playmates?

Playmates is a promotion which allows tombola customers to invite their friends to join tombola and receive ongoing bonus prizes when the referred customer plays and wins – They win, you win.

tombola customers can invite their friends to join tombola with the incentive of a free £5 bonus on joining. When the referred customer signs up and deposits £20 (real money) then the referring customer will receive £20 bonus money.

Who can take part?

This offer is open to customers aged 18 and over, whose country of residence is the UK.

To qualify for the promotion, both the referring and the referred must have accounts registered in the same country.

How to take part?

Any other method of registration will require referred players to correctly enter a free £5 code or the referring customer’s username in order for the referring customer to qualify for any Playmates prizes. This must be done within 7 days of activating the account; after this time a Playmate cannot be added.
If a player names a Playmate using the referring customer’s username rather than the free £5 code, the referring customer will receive the £20 bonus money prize and ongoing prizes once the referred customer deposits and spends £20 but the referred customer will NOT receive the free £5 bonus.

Rules

Only one Playmate can be named as this is the person that referred the referred customer to tombola and if the referred customer wins, the referrer will win a Playmates prize. A person you have already referred to tombola cannot be named as your referrer.
The referred customer must deposit £20 and spend £20 real money before ANY Playmates prizes are awarded to the referrer (this includes the initial £20 bonus offer or ongoing playmates prizes).
New players can name a Playmate within 7 days of registering their account, after this time players are not able to add a Playmate.
Referring customers will only be awarded the £20 Playmates bonus money prize and ongoing prizes if the referred customer is a new player, deposited and spent £20 real money and named the referring customer as their Playmate within 7 days of registering.
Playmates cannot be changed, even if they have stopped playing on tombola. If a player has registered a Playmate within 7 days and noticed that their Playmate details are incorrect, in certain circumstances (e.g. if this is an obvious typing error e.g. spelling error, extra digit added) players can amend their Playmate by contacting the Customer Services team.
Players who abuse the use of chat as a way of encouraging or harassing other players to add them as a Playmate can have their chat facility removed.
Prizes are only triggered for referring customers who have placed a stake on a tombola game within 6 months prior to the trigger. Players who have not placed a stake within this period forfeit any playmates prizes.
We reserve the right to disable a players account at any time, if this does occur Playmates prizes will be suspended until the account is made active again.

Playmate Prizes

When the referred customer wins a prize equal to or greater than £20 on bingo or equal to or greater than £100 on arcade, they will also win an additional Playmate bonus money prize that automatically transfers to the referring customer’s account as a thank you for introducing them to tombola.

Ongoing prizes are earned from each eligible player that named the player as a Playmate.

Ongoing prizes are applicable for 365 days / 12 months from the start of the Playmates relationship and will expire after this period. The relationship starts from the first time the referred player enters either the referrer's username or free fiver referral code into the available option.

Prizes won in free to play games and Tombola Roulette are not eligible for Playmates ongoing prizes.

Bingo:

Every time the referee wins £20 or more on any prize, the referrer wins a £2 Playmates bonus money prize.

If the referee wins a £50+ jackpot the referrer wins a £10 Playmates bonus money prize
If the referee wins a £100+ jackpot the referrer wins a £20 Playmates bonus money prize
If the referee wins a £500+ jackpot the referrer wins a £50 Playmates bonus money prize

Arcade:

Every time the referee wins £100 or more, the referrer wins a £2 Playmates bonus money prize.

Where can I find my Playmates Prizes?

When logged in, the Playmates page shows who invited the player to the site if applicable, the usernames of those that redeemed their free £5s and those who have gone on to deposit and spend £20 real money to earn the player prizes.
If a player has been awarded a Playmates prize when a player is in a game the player will see the letters P and M flash next to their balance. Clicking on this will allow the player to see who won to give you them a playmates prize.
A player can be named the Playmate for an unlimited number of people and if any of them win, they will win a Playmates prize.
No Playmates Prizes will be awarded as a result of prizes won on any free game.
No Playmates prizes will be awarded as a result of prizes won on the casino game Tombola Roulette.

Playmates free £5 gift card:

Five free £5 codes are accessible once a tombola player has deposited £20 and spent £20 real money
Non-depositing players will not receive the codes but can refer people using their username to receive the £20 bonus money prize and ongoing prizes. Referees WILL NOT receive a free £5 in this case
Players must use their £5 free code within 7 days of registering an account; a playmate cannot be named after 7 days.
Only five free £5 cards are available to share at one time. If a code is used, then the card will not be available to share as that code has been redeemed. Once the redeemer deposits £20 and spends £20 real money, the referrer will receive a new code to send to others as an incentive.
If all free £5 codes are redeemed, players can invite more people asking them to put their username in the box instead of the code. The player will still receive the £20 bonus money prize and ongoing prizes if the referee deposits £20 and spends £20 real money but they will NOT receive the free £5.
Codes can only be used once.
New players do not have to enter debit card details or make a deposit to claim a £5 FREE, simply enter a relevant code when asked
Any player attempting to enter a code incorrectly more than three times in one day will be blocked from re-attempting until the next day.

What else do I need to know?

By referring customers under this promotion both you and any referred customer agree to data regarding your betting activity being disclosed by tombola to each other as appropriate for the purpose of the promotion only. You must notify any referred customer that data will be shared in this way before they open an account using your code.

Amends to Playmates terms and conditions

We reserve the right to revise or amend these promotions at any time. We will notify you of any significant changes using an appropriate method of communication prior to the change coming in effect. The next time you log in to your tombola account after a significant change, you will be asked to agree to the new Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree to be bound by the changes to the Terms and Conditions, then you should exit the sites.

Bonus money terms and conditions

Bonus money and Free play prizes will be credited to your tombola account and cannot be withdrawn. Cash balance is always staked before bonus money. If you chose to withdraw before you have staked all your bonus funds, you will forfeit your bonus money.

You can use bonus money to play our games on both bingo and arcade, except tombola Roulette. If you have not deposited funds into your tombola account, you will be unable to play our free game with bonus money.

If your account is suspended, you will not receive bonus funds.

Promotional games are open to all registered tombola players and are subject to the general terms and conditions which govern tombola.co.uk and tombolaarcade.co.uk. tombola reserves the right to change, suspend or cancel a promotion at any time due to a third party’s illegal activity, technical difficulties and/or any other reasons beyond our control.

In the event that, as part of a promotional campaign or competition, we credit an amount to an account registered in your name, we reserve the right to reclaim any such unused amounts in the event that you fail to access or use that account during any period of six months. Irrespective of where players live in the world, tombola endeavours to deliver all promotional prizes and prizes that have been won to the prize winner's registered address destination or requested address. tombola reserves the right to offer an alternative prize of similar value (including a financial consideration) if it is either impractical or illegal to deliver the relevant prize to the player's relevant country.

10.1. Promotional Games and Guaranteed Prizes

In the event that a guaranteed promotional prize is shared each player will win a proportionate share of the guaranteed prize relating to their stake. Any player that completes their game in the required number of calls will receive the full jackpot amount. Jackpots are never shared.

In the unlikely event that a promotional game should malfunction or not run as intended, due to issues on tombola’s part, every endeavour will be made to rectify the situation.

No responsibility will be accepted for any technical difficulties that the player may have which inhibits them from participating.

In order for a player to win on a promotional game, a player must have bought into the game.

10.2. Location Specific Promotional Prizes

tombola will specify if 'travel costs' are included in a location-specific promotional prize. If not specified as included, a winner must pay his or her own costs to the destination. tombola reserves the right to offer an alternative prize of similar value (including a financial consideration) if it is impractical for the player to travel to a location-based prize. In such cases, tombola will attempt to offer a similar type of prize at a location nearer to the player but tombola reserves the right alternatively to offer a financial consideration prize. In the event that a guaranteed promotional prize is shared each player will win a proportionate share of the guaranteed prize relating to their stake. Any player that completes their game in the required number of calls will receive the full jackpot amount. Jackpots are never shared

10.3. In-chat prizes

All promotional prizes and prizes that are won via an in-chat competition will be sent to the prize winner's registered address. The prize may be altered or varied at tombola’s sole discretion and substituted with a prize which, in tombola’s sole opinion, is a suitable alternative. There is no cash alternative and the Prize is not negotiable, transferable or returnable. One entry per household per chat competition. No entrant may win more than one prize per chat competition and cannot win more than 2 physical prizes per month. A physical prize may include gift cards, vouchers, chocolates, flowers, goody bags, etc.

11.1. Player Panel - Terms of Use

This page (together with the documents referred to on it) provides you with the terms of use on which you may make use of the “player panel”. Please read these terms of use carefully before applying to be part of the “player panel.”

By applying to be part of the “player panel”, you indicate that you accept these terms of use and that you agree to abide by them. If you do not agree to these terms of use, please refrain from applying to the “player panel”.

If at any point your account status becomes Self-Excluded or cooled off your membership will be terminated with immediate effect. We may modify or update these terms of use from time to time.

11.2. Intellectual Property Rights

tombola is the owner and the licensee of all intellectual property rights submitted via the “player panel”. All such rights are reserved.

You must not download, share or pass any information shared via the “player panel” community outside of the “player panel” community. This includes any text, illustrations, photographs, video or audio content.

If you print off, copy or download any part of the “player panel” content, you are in breach of these terms of use, your right to be part of the “player panel” will cease immediately and you must, at our request, return or destroy any copies of the materials you have made.

By submitting your comments, photos, and videos, you agree that tombola is able to use these as tombola sees fit/deems suitable such as within the “player panel” newsletters and on the tombola site, though we will not disclose any of your personal contact details in doing so. In submitting any content, you waive your personal rights to any intellectual property in relation to it.

11.3. Reliance on Information Posted

Commentary and other materials shared via the “player panel” are not intended to amount to advice on which reliance should be placed. We therefore disclaim all liability and responsibility arising from any reliance placed on such materials by any member of the “player panel”, or by anyone who may be informed of any of its contents.

11.4. Our Site Changes Regularly

We aim to update the “player panel” regularly, and we may change the content at any time. If the need arises, we may suspend the “player panel”, or close it indefinitely.

11.5. Our Liability

The Internet is by its nature an unreliable medium. Consequently you accept that the “player panel” is offered on an ‘as is basis’ and an ‘as available basis’. All conditions, warranties and other terms, which might otherwise be implied by statute, common law or the law of equity.
Any breach of the acceptable use policy by you

11.6. Information about you and your visits to our sites

We process information about you in accordance with our privacy policy. By using the “player panel”, you consent to such processing and you warrant that all data provided by you is accurate.

No-one aged under 18 or not resident in the UK or Isle of Man is permitted to join the “player panel”. If you are found to be under 18 years of, age or not resident in the UK or Isle of Man your membership will be terminated with immediate effect.

If members choose to interact using their real name or via other identifiable information they do so at their own risk. tombola does not take responsibility for anything that might happen as result of using personally identifiable information.

11.7. Idea submission

Emails will be sent to the email address provided when registering as a member of the “player panel”.

You agree and warrant that any ideas put forward are your own original work and do not infringe the rights of anyone else. If your idea is not your own work, (for example if you’ve had assistance from someone else or used someone else’s idea) you confirm that at the time of submitting the entry you have permission to use the other party’s work in this way and to submit it as an entry into the player panel. You agree to indemnify tombola against any claim that tombola has infringed the rights of a third party in using your entry in accordance with these terms of use.

All entries become the property of tombola once submitted.

tombola may use any of the ideas submitted to promote tombola, including, but not limited to, using the winning idea on social media sites, printed materials or on tombola website. By submitting your idea you consent to such use.

11.8. Competition

From time to time, tombola may offer to award a prize to the entrant that submits the best idea in response to a particular brief (a “Competition”). You will be notified in the email mentioned in paragraph 1 if a Competition is to take place. These terms of use will apply to any Competition (unless stated otherwise in the email).

The winning idea (s) will be the most unique and creative idea submitted in response to the brief before the closing date for submission.
The Competition will be judged by a panel of judges. The judges’ decision will be final and no correspondence will be entered into.
The prize for the Competition, subject to availability and these terms of use will be at the discretion of tombola.
The value of the Prize will be set out in the email
The Prize will be emailed or sent to the winner’s email address or home address (as provided on the panelists tombola account).
tombola reserves the right to vary the amount of the Prize which can be won. No cash alternative will be offered for any Prize.
Winners of the Competition may be invited to submit ideas for more than one brief but will only be able to win one Prize.
Winners will be chosen within 14 days of the closing date for submission of ideas and will be contacted by email within 28 days of being selected as the winner of the Competition.
Winner’s names will not be announced to the public.
tombola reserves the right to award a Prize to someone else if a winner cannot be contacted within 56 days of the winner being chosen, or is subsequently found not to have been entitled to win the Prize.
Ideas that do not comply with these terms of use will not be valid.
tombola accepts no liability or responsibility of any nature (to the extent permitted by law) in relation to the taking of any Prize or the availability of any Prize, or for Prizes lost, delayed or damaged.
tombola reserves the right to cancel or vary these terms of use and/or any Competition at any time by giving notice on via email.
The Competition is not a game forming part tombola.
All personal data provided to tombola will be processed in accordance with the tombola Terms of Use and Privacy Policy, and the Data Protection Act 1998. Personal data will be held and used by tombola for the purposes set out in these Terms and Conditions.
These terms of use do not prohibit tombola from offering the “player panel” members with opportunities to enter any additional prize draws that tombola may run from time to time. Any such competitions will also be subject to their own terms and conditions/terms of use, where applicable.

11.10. Emails from our Sites

If you are accepted to the “player panel”, as a registered member of the “player panel” you agree to receive regular emails from the “player panel” ([email protected]). Emails received from the “player panel” are not in any way linked to emails sent from the tombola websites and are not subject to any ‘opt in’ procedures in respect of the tombola websites.

11.11. Jurisdiction and Applicable law

These terms and your use of this “player panel” shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the Law of the UK and the Isle of Man.

By applying to be part of the “player panel” and accepting these terms of use, you accept that any dispute under these terms of use arising out of applying to be part of the “player panel” shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the UK’s and Isle of Man’s courts and by application you hereby submit to the jurisdiction of such courts for such purposes and waive any and all objections to jurisdiction or venue in such courts.

11.12 Variations

We may revise these terms of use at any time by amending this page. You are expected to check this page from time to time to take notice of any changes we made, as they are binding on you.

The following Terms and Conditions apply to competitions hosted on Facebook, Instagram or Twitter where entrants must comment on a post to participate. By entering into a social media competition, entrants agree to be bound by the following Terms & Conditions:

No purchase is necessary to enter a social media competition.
Social media competitions are open to UK residents aged eighteen (18) and over. However, the competition is specifically closed to employees of tombola.
Social media competitions are open to entrants who comment on the post on the relevant social media tombola page (Facebook, Instagram or Twitter) on the relevant day and confirm their tombola username in the comment. The winner(s) will be chosen at random, unless otherwise stated, from the comments on the date specified in the post. The winner(s) will win the Prize mentioned in the post on the relevant day.
Entries can only be made via the tombola Facebook, Instagram or Twitter page where the social media competition is hosted. Entrants must comment on the social media competition post in order to enter the social media competition.
Only one entry is allowed per person in any one social media competition, unless otherwise stated. Multiple entries, entries after the closing date, incomplete, offensive and obscene entries will not be accepted and may be deleted.
Only one prize may be awarded per household, per social media competition.
Winners will be drawn the day after each social media competition has been posted online, unless otherwise stated.
Winners’ names will be made available on the relevant social media channel the day after the social media competition has ended.
Winners must claim their Prize within 30 days of being announced as the winner.
It is the winners’ responsibility to check whether they are a winner of a social media competition.
By entering a social media competition, you permit tombola to contact you on Facebook, Instagram or Twitter or via the email address you have registered in your tombola account.
The Prize may be altered or varied at tombola’s sole discretion and substituted with a replacement of equal cash value which, in tombola’s sole opinion, is a suitable alternative.
There is no cash alternative and the Prize is not negotiable, transferable or returnable.
Winners agree not to sell, offer to sell or use the Prize for any commercial or promotional purposes (including placing the Prize on an internet auction site).
To the maximum extent permitted by law, tombola and its related entities shall not be liable for any claims or actions of any kind whatsoever for damages or losses to persons or property which may be sustained in connection with receipt, ownership and/or use of the Prize.
Entrants can only participate in social media competitions on Facebook, Instagram or Twitter using a tombola account in their name. Prizes will not be awarded where the entrant’s name on the social media channel and the name on the tombola account do not match.
Accounts which are disabled, cooling off or self-excluded are not eligible to enter into social media competitions. Accounts whose status has changed to disabled, cooling off or self-excluded after the competition has ended but before the prize has been sent out are not eligible to receive a prize.
tombola and you acknowledge that social media competitions are in no way sponsored, endorsed or administered by, or associated with, Facebook, Instagram or Twitter.
The promoter reserves the right to cancel, amend, terminate or temporarily suspend the social media competition in the event of any circumstances outside the promoter’s reasonable control.
Your statutory rights are not affected.
All entry instructions form part of these Terms and Conditions.
tombola reserves the right, acting reasonably, to change, suspend or cancel a promotion at any time due to a third party’s illegal activity, technical difficulties and/or any other reasons beyond our control.
