What information do I need to prove my identity?
To comply with regulations, we are required to verify each players identity (age and address). We do this via an identity check using an external electronic verifier, on some rare occasions this check may fail, and ID may be requested to verify the account manually before it can be used.
ID can be easily sent in via our ID upload tool within My account.
To activate your tombola account, upload either:
- Full or Provisional Driving License or
- Two documents; one from each of the lists below:
List One – Proof of Identity
- Passport
- Driver’s License (UK/EU)
- National Identity Card (EU)
- Birth Certificate
List Two – Proof of Address (Issue date within the last 6 months)
- Bank/debit card statement
- Utility bill (eg. Energy or water)
- Annual Council Tax Statement
- Letter from HMRC/DWP
Please note that letters must be dated within the last 6 months except for annual council tax which must be for the current financial year.
To ensure that the documents will be accepted, please see that all 4 corners of the documents are visible, letters must show the full page rather than just the header.
Once you have submitted your documents via My Account > ID Upload, they will be reviewed by our team, and they will aim to process the ID within 4 hours.
